I really had fun playing with my ate colours this week I am loving creating backgrounds on watercolour paper to use for some simple cards. Here are four cards that I created this afternoon.
Love this rainbow background!

This one I ran through an embossing folder before painting.

These last two I  ran through an embossing folder and then heat embossed the raised portions and then painted.

I had so much fun playing! I made a bit of a mess so I am off to clean up.

Id love to hear your thoughts and questions, just leave me a comment!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada then please start at the beginning at Michelle's blog .
If you came from Janet's blog then you are in the right place!

I had so much fun playing with my new Cricut Explore and the Artistry collection. I cut out so much stuff that I haven't yet had time to finish all the projects I cut images for. The cricut collections are a great way to make your scrapbook pages or cards simple fit your personal style.

I am very excited to share with you the cards I have created with this wonderful Cricut Collection. As you can probably see I there is a definite Christmas/winter theme to most of them, I have been busy planning for my first card buffet night at the end of the month.

I love the simplicity of this card. I opted to use the debossed side of the cardstock.

I like the layers that are available in this collection. With this card I added some 3D foam tape, liquid glass, and sparkles to add some more interest to the cut images.

I love the simple white on white of this card. I accented it with some silver foil tape and one small sparkle.

The snowflake border on this card could also be used on a scrapbook layout . . . just adjust the size on your cricut and push the cut button!

I had some cricut sparkle vinyl laying around when I was playing I love how simple yet elegant this card is.

I am in the process of designing and prepping for my Christmas Card Buffet. I hope to have at least 15 different cards to choose from. So, it is all you can make in the 3 hours for $30 ($15 with a minimum purchase of $25). It is a great way to get a buch of Christmas Cards done and will be a lot of fun, . You get to choose what you want to make just like when you go to a food buffet. I will be posting pictures as I get the cards designed. I will post my dates for October and November, I just haven't figured out the dates yet.

OR

I can bring the card buffet to ladies groups, mom's groups, seniors homes, or to you and your friends. Everything is pre-cut for you. I have 6 spots in each of these time slots.

Your next stop is Anna's Blog. Thanks for joining us this month and come back next month to see what creative projects we can bring you.

I love all the New CTMH Paper Packets, but i had it narrowed down to 2 but as the next hop I'm participating is using Sangria so I decided to use Kaleidoscope.

I am really happy with how it turned out it is nice and girly and I think it may have inspired a scrapbook page to come soon.

The next card came of just playing with scraps and new tools. It's kinda fun so i'm sharing.

I used Close To My Heart's Kaleidoscope Paper Packet with CTMH Pixie, Pear and Gypsy  cardstock.

I used CTMH's Finding the Words stamp set, CTMH's new Confetti embossing folder Cricut Artiste collection and CTMH's scallop border punch. I also added a bit of bling with CTMH's New Enamel and Glitter Duos (Purple Hearts) and Purple Glitter gems (retired product).
